In person appointments can be booked for 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes or 90 minutes depending on the complexity of the presenting problem (for example if there is more than one area needing treatment, if there is a long history of symptoms or if there has been previous unsuccessful treatment, a longer appointment would be necessary). Video consultations can be booked for 30 minutes or 60 minutes. All initial consultations need to be 60 or 90 minutes.

Research has shown that understanding pain reduces pain and also reduces the likelihood of pain persisting. Learning how to avoid unnecessary pain is an integral part of evidence based treatment. By using strategies based on the latest pain science research between appointments to complement and enhance treatment benefits, it lessens the need for follow up sessions, empowering patients to self manage their symptoms successfully.
